Policies

Here are some basic policies typical of all charter boats.
- Most bookings go through a charter broker.
- Your crew's job:
- To make an itinerary that will suit your desires, your daily mood and weather conditions.
- They cook all your gourmet meals and keep the boat clean.
- They are ready when you are with drinks as the sun sets.
- They will get out water toys, take you scuba diving or snorkeling, and drive you onto shore whenever you like.
- They take you to the party or find a quiet location to relax.
- They will show you how to sail, if you're so inclined.
- They will chat with you or leave you alone.
- Your job:
- Most of all, enjoy yourself.
- For your safety, listen to the crew. If the weather is not compatible with the anchorage you want and the captain feels it better to anchor elsewhere, do not insist.
- Please be respectful and courteous to the crew, they are sea professionals there to make your vacation a dream come true, but they are not servants.
- Like most other boats, we do not appreciate shoes worn on board. They can damage teak and leave skidmarks.
- Shellette is a non-smoking (inside) and no drugs or guns vessel (anywhere).
- We appreciate if you follow the instructions on the head (bathroom) operation. Your captain will explain why.
- We sail with limited amounts of water, please conserve.
